The gift they will actually open twice
Every December, the same thing happens. Someone unwraps a sweater, smiles politely, and forgets it by New Year’s. Nobody forgets the box with a rifle in it. They remember the weight in their hands, the click of the first magazine going in, and the first shot ringing off a tin can on Christmas afternoon.
That is the gift this guide is built for. I went through every airsoft gun and BB gun at Airsoft Station and kept only the ones worth wrapping, from a $22 stocking stuffer to a rifle that will make a seasoned player go quiet. No filler. No padding. If a gun made this list, it earned its spot.
Before you shop: You must be 18 or older to order any airsoft gun from Airsoft Station. Every pick in this guide is meant for an adult recipient, or for an adult buying for supervised use.

? How I Picked
A gift has a different job than a purchase
Buying for yourself is about specs. Buying for someone else is about a moment, the second they tear the paper and their face changes. So I judged every gun on four questions. Does it look great coming out of the box? Can it shoot the same day? Will it still be in use by spring? Is the price fair for what you get? Combo kits, batteries in the box and real licensed names scored high. Anything that needs three extra purchases before it fires got cut.
One more thing before the picks. This guide holds two kinds of gifts. Airsoft guns fire 6mm plastic BBs and are made for games and target practice. BB guns fire steel .177 BBs and are made for plinking cans in the backyard. Different gifts, different people, so they live in different sections.
? Airsoft Guns Under $50: Stocking Stuffers
Small box, big reaction
Fifty dollars is where most gift budgets give up. Here, it buys a licensed pistol, a full starter kit, or a gun that fires full auto. That is a big reaction for a small number on the receipt.
| # | Gift | Price | Power | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Walther P22 Special Operations | $21.99 | Spring | Lowest price, real brand |
| 2 | Full Metal 1911 Warrior | $22.00 | Spring | Metal feel on a tiny budget |
| 3 | Walther Spring PPK/S Operative Kit | $26.99 | Spring | Best unboxing under $30 |
| 4 | SIG SAUER SIG1 MPX | $33.00 | Spring | A licensed rifle shape for pocket money |
| 5 | Umarex Combat Zone Enforcer | $39.99 | CO2 | Target shooting with punch |
| 6 | H&K P30 Electric | $44.99 | Electric | Full auto fun, no gas to buy |
#1 Walther P22 Special Operations
The lowest price on this page, with a real brand

At $21.99, the Walther P22 Special Operations is the cheapest gun in this guide, and it still carries authentic Walther trademarks. It is about 6 inches long, weighs less than half a pound, and fires around 260 FPS with 0.12g BBs from a 20-round magazine.
A hop-up helps the BBs fly straighter, and a rail underneath takes a small light or laser. BBs come in the box, so it fires the moment the paper comes off.
Gift it to: the office gift exchange, a stocking for the grown-up who loves gadgets, or anyone you want to try airsoft before a bigger buy.
#2 Full Metal 1911 Warrior Spring Pistol
Metal weight, stocking stuffer price

Pick up the Full Metal 1911 Warrior and you feel it before you see it. Real weight. A full metal slide and frame on a $22 pistol, which almost never happens at this price. It is also my top pick in the spring airsoft pistol guide, where I explain why it beats pistols that cost more.
#3 Walther Spring PPK/S Operative Kit
The best unboxing at this price

Most budget pistols arrive as a pistol in a box. The Walther Spring PPK/S Operative Kit arrives as a mission. Lift the lid and there is the pistol, a mock suppressor, a laser sight, two 10-round magazines and a 400-round bottle of BBs. It feels like something a spy would pack, and for under $27 that is the whole point.
It shoots around 250 FPS with 0.12g BBs, which is right for close-range targets in a backyard or garage. No battery to charge. No gas to buy. It works on Christmas morning and it still works in March, which is more than most gifts can say.
Gift it to: the spy movie fan, the office Secret Santa winner, or anyone you want to surprise without spending big.
#4 SIG SAUER SIG1 MPX Spring Rifle
A licensed rifle for pocket money

Most rifles at this price look like toys. The SIG SAUER SIG1 MPX looks like the real MPX, with a quad rail handguard, flip-up sights and a full-length top rail ready for a red dot. The stock comes off and adjusts to three positions, so it fits different shooters.
It is spring powered and shoots around 300 FPS with 0.20g BBs. The 26-round magazine has a 500 BB reservoir in the back, which means fewer breaks to reload. Thirty-three dollars for a licensed rifle shape is hard to argue with.
#5 Umarex Combat Zone Enforcer
The most punch under $40

If they care about power, this is the stocking stuffer to buy. The Combat Zone Enforcer by Umarex runs on standard 12-gram CO2 cartridges and is rated at 400 FPS with 0.20g BBs. No cocking between shots. Pull the trigger, it fires.
The 15-round magazine drops free, there is a rail for accessories, and the compact frame fits easily in a range bag. Add a box of CO2 cartridges to the order, because it will not fire without them.
#6 H&K P30 Electric Pistol
Full auto for under fifty dollars

This is the one that gets a shout across the living room. The H&K P30 fires semi or full auto from a 16-round drop-out magazine, and it runs on a battery, so there is no gas bill later. A rail underneath takes a light or laser when they want to make it their own.
At around 180 FPS it is made for fun, not competition. Be honest about who it is for. For backyard targets and pure grins, it is hard to beat at $44.99.
? Airsoft Guns $50 to $100: The First Real Gun
Where gifts turn into a hobby
This is the sweet spot for a first gun. Licensed brands, full metal pistols, combo kits and electric rifles that come with a battery and charger. Pay attention to that last part. A gift that cannot fire on the day it is opened is a gift that ends up in the closet.
| # | Gift | Price | Power | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Colt Spring M4 and Pistol Combo Kit | $56.95 | Spring | Rifle and sidearm together |
| 2 | WG Full Metal US Combat 1911 | $64.95 |

| 7 | Double Eagle M900E Tactical AK-47 | $99.99 | Electric | AK fans who want full auto |
#1 Colt Spring M4 and Pistol Combo Kit
Two guns for the price of a nice dinner

If you read one section of this guide, make it this one. The Colt Spring M4 and Pistol Combo Kit puts a Colt-licensed M4 rifle and a matching pistol in a single box for $56.95. A rifle and a sidearm. A full loadout before the wrapping paper even hits the floor.
The tan and black finish looks great under a tree, and spring power keeps things simple. Nothing to charge, nothing to fill, nothing to learn. Fair warning: with two guns in one box, expect an argument over who shoots first.
Gift it to: anyone brand new to airsoft, or a family that wants to set up a backyard target range together.
#2 WG Full Metal US Combat 1911
Full metal weight, CO2 power

The 1911 is the most famous pistol shape in America, and the WG Full Metal US Combat 1911 gives it real weight with full metal construction and wood grain style grips. It runs on CO2, is rated at 500 FPS with 0.20g BBs, and fires from a 16-round magazine.
The adjustable hop-up and adjustable rear sight let them tune it for targets. With that much power, this is a backyard target pistol, not one for close indoor games. Remember to add CO2.
Gift it to: the classic pistol fan, or anyone who likes a gun that feels heavy in the hand.
#3 FN Herstal Entry Level SCAR LPEG
Charged, sighted and ready to go

Electric guns have one classic gift problem: somebody forgets the battery. The FN Herstal Entry Level SCAR solves it. The battery and charger sit inside the magazine and come in the box, along with a red dot sight. Unwrap, charge, shoot.
It fires full auto at around 300 FPS with 0.12g BBs from a 200-round hopper. The stock folds, the sights flip up, and there is a foregrip up front. At $66.95, no electric rifle on this list puts more in one box.
#4 Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 SV AEP
Tokyo Marui quality at an entry price

Tokyo Marui is a name experienced players know well, and the Hi-Capa 5.1 SV AEP is one of the easiest ways to own one. It runs on four AAA batteries, the slide blows back electrically, and it switches between semi and full auto.
At 100 to 120 FPS with 0.20g BBs, it is made for indoor and garage targets, not field games. The silver finish looks sharp in a gift box. Pack four AAA batteries with it, because they are sold separately.
#5 Sig Sauer Patrol AEG and 1911 Kit
A rifle, a pistol and the battery too

This kit takes the combo idea one step further. The Sig Sauer Patrol Kit by Cybergun pairs an electric rifle with a spring 1911 pistol, and the box also holds the battery, charger, BBs and a vertical grip. Nothing else to buy before the first shot.
The rifle fires semi or full auto at 170 to 180 FPS from a 300-round magazine and has a retractable crane stock. That lower power suits backyard plinking and indoor targets. At $89, two guns plus a battery is a lot of gift.
#6 6mmProShop KRISS Vector LPAEG
Sci-fi looks, battery in the box

Few guns look as different as the KRISS Vector, and this 6mmProShop version is officially licensed by KRISS USA. It is a low power electric gun that fires 200 to 250 FPS with 0.20g BBs, in semi or full auto, from a 300-round magazine.
The battery and charger come in the box, the stock adjusts, and so does the hop-up. Lower power makes it a smart pick for indoor play. For anyone who loves futuristic gear, this is the one they will grab first.
#7 Double Eagle M900E Tactical AK-47
The AK that fits a gift budget

Some people want an M4. Some people will only ever want an AK. You already know which one you are buying for. For the AK crowd, the Double Eagle M900E is the answer at $99.99. It shoots 350 FPS with 0.20g BBs, comes with an 8.4V 1500mAh NiMH battery, and feeds from a 450-round magazine. The polymer body keeps it light and keeps the price down, which leaves room for goggles and BBs.
Two gifts, one box. The Colt combo and the Sig Sauer Patrol Kit both put two guns in a single package. Buying for siblings, a couple, or one person who hates choosing? Start here.
⭐ Airsoft Guns $100 to $200: The Serious Upgrade
For the player who already owns a gun
Buying for someone who already plays is a different game. They can spot a toy from across the room. This tier speaks their language: metal gearboxes, licensed pistols, collector pieces, and some of the biggest markdowns in the store right now.

#1 FN Herstal SCAR-L AEG
The best value on this entire page

A licensed FN Herstal SCAR-L cut from $199 to $119.95 is not a deal that waits politely while you finish your list. The SCAR shape is instantly recognizable, it sits on Airsoft Station’s featured list, and it puts a new player on the field holding a rifle that looks like it belongs there.
If you only buy one gun from this guide for someone ready to play real games, make it this one. Then spend the $79 you saved on goggles and a bottle of good BBs.
#2 Double Eagle M59P Sniper Rifle
A sniper rifle with the scope included

Some players do not want to spray BBs. They want one careful shot. The Double Eagle M59P is an L96-style bolt action spring rifle that arrives with a scope and a bipod in the box, so the full sniper look is there on day one.
It shoots 380 FPS with 0.20g BBs, holds 30 rounds, and has a full metal barrel assembly and bolt. An adjustable hop-up, rubber cheek rest and built-in monopod round it out.
Gift it to: the patient shooter, the one who always picks the long-range class in a video game, or anyone who wants to try sniping without a big spend.
#3 Legends Smoke Wagon Revolver
Six shells and a spinning cylinder

The Legends Smoke Wagon is a full metal, nickel finish revolver that runs on a 12-gram CO2 cartridge. Six realistic shells come with it, the cylinder turns with every shot, and the hammer cocks for single action fire. Load it, cock it, fire it, and the whole thing feels like a Western.
It shoots 335 FPS with 0.20g BBs, and the product page lists around 100 shots per CO2 cartridge. If they love this one, wait until you read #4 in this section.
#4 Atlas Custom Works M1873 Mares Leg
Nobody else under the tree will have one

Every gift list on the internet will tell you to buy an M4. I am telling you to buy a cowboy gun. The Atlas Custom Works M1873 Mares Leg is a green gas lever action in silver with an M-LOK handguard, and it is down from $279.99 to $149.95. That is the biggest discount in this entire guide.
Work the lever once and you will get it. It feels nothing like a modern rifle, and that is exactly why it makes a great gift. It is a conversation piece first and a shooter second, and it is a lot of fun at both.
Gift it to: the Western movie fan, the collector who has everything, or anyone you want to genuinely surprise. Pair it with the Smoke Wagon revolver for a full frontier set.
#5 Thompson M1A1 Full Metal AEG
A WWII legend in full metal

The Thompson is the gun from every WWII film, and this Thompson M1A1 is fully licensed, with a full metal upper receiver, a full metal gearbox with steel gears and a simulated wood grain finish. At 7.2 lbs, it feels serious the moment they lift it.
It shoots 360 FPS with 0.20g BBs in semi or full auto from a 450-round magazine. One honest note: the battery and charger are not included, so add a 7.4v LiPo or 8.4v NiMH battery and a charger to the order.
Gift it to: the history buff, the war film fan, or the collector who wants something with a story behind it.
#6 Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 GBB
A pistol they can keep building on

The Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 is a green gas blowback pistol with an adjustable hop-up, a rail for a light and a 31-round magazine. It shoots 300 FPS with 0.20g BBs, and the slide kicks back on every shot.
Tokyo Marui builds it to tight tolerances, so it works with a huge range of aftermarket parts. That makes it more than a gift. It is a project they can keep improving for years. Add a can of green gas so it fires on day one.
#7 Lancer Tactical M4 SD Gen 2
A real field rifle at a sale price

When someone is ready to leave entry-level guns behind, the Lancer Tactical M4 SD Gen 2 is where I point them. Full metal Version 2 gearbox, 8mm bearings, a quick-change spring system, and a built-in mock suppressor that looks sharp straight out of the box. Flip-up sights and an adjustable crane stock finish the job.
This is a rifle that grows with the player instead of getting replaced in six months. Not sure electric is the right call at all? My HPA vs AEG vs GBBR guide settles it in one read.
#8 Lancer Tactical Interceptor SPR Gen 2
Long reach, everything in the box

For the player who likes to hang back and pick their shots, the Lancer Tactical Interceptor SPR is down from $249 to $189. It shoots 400 FPS with 0.20g BBs through a 6.03mm tight bore barrel, with a full metal Version 2 gearbox and a quick change spring system.
The box covers everything: battery, charger, a 300-round magazine, sample BBs and a cleaning rod. Flip-up sights, an M-LOK handguard and an adjustable crane stock finish it off. Think of it as the M4 SD’s longer-range sibling.
#9 Glock 17 Gen5 GBB
The pistol everyone recognizes

Say “airsoft pistol” and most people picture a Glock. The Glock 17 Gen5 GBB carries official Glock markings, a metal slide on a polymer frame, a full metal 23-round magazine and gas blowback that kicks back every single time the trigger breaks. It shoots around 325 FPS with 0.20g BBs. Want more Glock options? My best airsoft Glock guide has them.
? Airsoft Guns $200 and Up: Premium Gifts
For the player who has everything else
At this price you are not buying a starter gun. You are buying the gun they have been staring at for months and keep talking themselves out of. Three of these four are on sale right now, and that window will not stay open forever.

The showpiece gift |
#1 H&K MP5 SD6 Competition Series
The suppressed SMG everyone recognizes

The MP5 SD is one of the most recognizable SMGs ever made, and this H&K MP5 SD6 Competition Series carries fully licensed H&K trademarks. It has a full metal gearbox, a working charging handle, a folding stock and that suppressed barrel shape. Two 200-round magazines come in the box.
It shoots 330 FPS with 0.20g BBs and works with Tokyo Marui internal parts, so it can grow with the player. The battery and charger are not included, so add a 7.4v or 11.1v LiPo and a charger to complete the gift.
#2 KRYTAC Trident MK3 PDW-M
My pick for the seasoned player

This is my pick in the premium tier. The KRYTAC Trident MK3 PDW-M has an aluminum receiver, a full metal V2 gearbox and a KRYTAC NEO high torque motor, and it collapses from 24.1 down to 20.8 inches. That compact size moves easily through indoor and outdoor games alike.
It shoots 330 to 350 FPS with 0.20g BBs, takes standard M4 magazines, and is down from $409.95 to $339. There is no battery in the box, so pair it with one if they do not already own a spare.
#3 ICS CXP MARS.II Carbine
Machined aluminum with a kick

If they know their brands, they know ICS. The ICS CXP MARS.II has CNC-machined aluminum upper and lower receivers, an aluminum M-LOK rail, and electric blowback that gives every shot a little kick. It shoots 394 FPS with 0.20g BBs in safe, semi, burst or full auto.
The split gearbox has a quick change spring, the flip-up sights have fiber optic elements, and it takes M4 magazines. It is down from $429.95 to $299.95. Battery and charger are not included.
#4 KRYTAC KRISS Vector V2
The showpiece gift

If you want a gift that stops conversations, this is it. The KRYTAC KRISS Vector V2 is full metal, licensed by KRISS, and fires 370 to 400 FPS with 0.20g BBs. It switches between semi, two-round burst and full auto, and the folding stock takes it from 26.3 down to 17.7 inches.
Inside is an 8mm proprietary gearbox with an enhanced FET system and a NEO high torque motor. It is down from $527.95 to $470.95, and the battery is not included. For compact options at a lower price, see my best airsoft SMGs under $300 guide.
? BB Gun Gifts
Steel BBs, tin cans and pure nostalgia
A BB gun is a different kind of gift. It fires steel .177 BBs, not plastic, and it belongs on a backyard range, never on an airsoft field. For a lot of people it was also their very first gun. That is why a BB gun under the tree hits differently, and no spec sheet can explain it.
| # | BB Gun | Price | Power | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Daisy Powerline 340 | $24.95 | Spring | Budget plinking pistol |
| 2 | Daisy Model 25 Pump-Action | $50.95 | Spring, pump | Vintage style lovers |
| 3 | Daisy 880 Multi-Pump | $65.99 | Multi-pump | BBs and pellets in one rifle |
| 4 | Tanfoglio Witness 1911 | $79.00 |
CO2 blowback | Full metal realism on sale |
| 5 | Daisy Adult Red Ryder | $83.95 | Lever action | The classic holiday gift |
| 6 | GLOCK 19 CO2 .177 Air Pistol | $84.99 | CO2 | Licensed Glock in steel BB form |
| 7 | Umarex Legends M3 Grease Gun | $249.99 | CO2, full auto | WWII fans and full auto thrills |
#1 Daisy Powerline 340
A first BB pistol under $25

The Daisy Powerline 340 is a simple spring pistol for steel BBs, and at $24.95 it is the lowest priced BB gun here. It is single action, so the hammer gets cocked before every shot. That slows the shooter down and builds good habits.
A 13-round speedload clip feeds from a 200-shot reservoir, and it fires 240 FPS with steel BBs. Add a pack of BBs and a target and the afternoon is sorted.
#2 Daisy Model 25 Pump-Action
A classic that has outlived its fans

Daisy has made the Model 25 for over a century, and it still looks the part with a wood stock, wood pump handle and an engraved receiver. Work the pump and it fires 350 FPS with steel BBs from a 50-shot screw-in tube.
The rear sight flips between an open sight and a peep sight, so it teaches aiming two ways.
Gift it to: the person who loves old things done right, or the grandparent who wants to teach the next generation to shoot cans.
#3 Daisy 880 Multi-Pump
Two kinds of ammo, one rifle

The Daisy 880 shoots steel BBs and .177 pellets, and the pump lets the shooter decide how much power goes into each shot. A few pumps for the close cans, more for the far ones. It quietly teaches control in a way a simple spring gun never will. When they want to go deeper, my CO2, spring or PCP air rifle guide is the next read.
#4 Tanfoglio Witness 1911
Full metal, full size, on sale

The Tanfoglio Witness 1911 is a 1:1 scale, full metal CO2 pistol built to match the size and weight of the real thing. The slide blows back with every shot, the grips are textured Bakelite style, and the sights are classic GI style.
It fires 300 to 330 FPS with steel BBs from an 18-round magazine, and it is down from $119 to $79. That is a big discount on a pistol with official Tanfoglio markings. Add CO2 cartridges to the order.
#5 Daisy Adult Red Ryder
The holiday BB gun, and it is not close

Some gifts come with decades of memories already attached. The Red Ryder is one of them. The Daisy Adult Red Ryder keeps the classic lever action and wood stock but sizes it for grown hands. Give it to the dad, uncle or grandparent who still tells the story about the one they had as a kid, and watch them tell it again. Want a scope? The Lasso Scoped version costs the same.
#6 GLOCK 19 CO2 .177 Air Pistol
A licensed Glock for the backyard range

The GLOCK 19 CO2 air pistol is officially licensed by Glock and fires steel BBs at 410 FPS. It has a full metal slide, rear slide serrations, a 20mm accessory rail and a 15-round magazine.
For anyone who already loves the Glock look, this brings it to the backyard range with steel BBs instead of plastic. CO2 cartridges are not in the box, so add a pack.
#7 Umarex Legends M3 Grease Gun
The BB gun that steals the afternoon

The Umarex Legends M3 Grease Gun is a CO2, full auto replica of the WWII submachine gun, and it keeps turning up on 2026 lists of the best BB guns. One trigger pull explains why. Hold it down, the magazine is gone in a blink, and the biggest laugh of the afternoon follows. It is the premium pick for anyone who loves history, or just loves noise.
BB guns are not airsoft guns. Steel BBs can ricochet and cause serious injury. Airsoft fields do not allow them. Always pair a BB gun gift with proper eye protection and a safe backstop, and check local laws before you buy.

? Do Not Forget the Extras
The difference between a gift and a great day
Here is the most common mistake with this kind of gift. Someone buys a great gun, wraps it beautifully, and forgets everything it needs to fire. A gas pistol with no gas is a paperweight. A gun with no goggles should not be fired at all. Spend a little on the extras and the whole gift works on day one. Bonus: these add-ons are often what pushes an order past the $199 free shipping threshold.
| Add-On | Why It Matters | Pairs With |
|---|---|---|
| Goggles and face masks | Non-negotiable. No goggles, no shooting. | Every airsoft gun on this list |
| Airsoft BBs | Quality BBs feed better and fly straighter | All 6mm airsoft guns |
| Green gas and CO2 | Gas guns will not fire without it | Glock 17, Hi-Capa, Mares Leg, Smoke Wagon |
| Practice targets | Gives the first afternoon a purpose | Spring pistols and starter rifles |
| Speed loaders | Less time loading, more time shooting | Rifles with mid-cap magazines |
| Airgun ammo | Steel BBs and pellets for airguns only | Every BB gun on this list |
Do not wait for December 20th. Holiday shipping slows down every year, and the sale prices in this guide will not hang around for last-minute shoppers. If a gun on this list fits the person you have in mind, lock it in now.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best airsoft gun to give as a gift?
For a beginner, I recommend the Colt Spring M4 and Pistol Combo Kit because it puts a rifle and a pistol in one box for $56.95. For someone ready to play real games, the FN Herstal SCAR-L AEG at $119.95 is the best value in this guide.
What is the difference between an airsoft gun and a BB gun?
Airsoft guns fire 6mm plastic BBs and are designed for skirmish games and target practice. BB guns fire steel .177 BBs and are designed for plinking and target shooting. BB guns are not allowed at airsoft fields, and steel BBs require extra care because they can ricochet.
Do I need to be 18 to buy an airsoft gun?
Yes. You must be 18 or older to order an airsoft gun from Airsoft Station. Local and state laws on airsoft and BB guns also vary, so check the rules where the recipient lives before you buy.
What should I buy with an airsoft gun gift?
Always add rated goggles or a face mask and a bottle of quality BBs. Gas guns also need green gas or CO2, and electric guns that do not include a battery need one before they can fire.
Which airsoft guns come with a battery and charger?
In this guide, the FN Herstal Entry Level SCAR and the 6mmProShop KRISS Vector LPAEG, the Sig Sauer Patrol Kit and the Lancer Tactical Interceptor SPR all include a battery and charger. The Double Eagle M900E lists an 8.4V NiMH battery. Always check the product page for what is in the box.
? My Final Word
Buy the moment, not the box
A gift card says, “I did not know what to get you.” A rifle with a red bow says, “I know exactly who you are.” Pick your budget, match the gun to the person, add goggles and BBs, and you have just handed someone the best afternoon of their holiday.
Still on the fence? Get the Colt combo kit for a beginner, the FN SCAR-L for a new player, and the Red Ryder for anyone who grew up wishing for one. Then check the On Sale Now section before everyone else does. The best gifts go first.
